CCTV NVR

A network video recorder, also known as a NVR CCTV system works with an IP camera network to monitor domestic or commercial properties. There are two types of network video recorders:

• Plug-in and play - this type of NVR recorder connects to the IP cameras wirelessly through Wi-Fi. This type is usually simpler to install.
• PoE (Power over Ethernet) - this type of NVR recorder uses ethernet ports for connection. This type is usually more reliable as it does not rely on Wi-Fi.

Both types of network video recorders require less cables than alternatives and often provide higher quality footage.
