How do I choose the right outdoor post light?
Mounting options
Our selection of post lights is available as integrated with the lantern and post to be placed on top of the ground, or just as the lantern for placing on a suitable surface. The right mounting option for you depends on the space of your outdoor areas, and whether you'd prefer a statement lamp to illuminate large areas or a lantern for ambience.
Style
Our post and pedestal lanterns are influenced by Victorian street lighting and are perfect for adding an elegant and classical look to your outdoor space. Our lanterns are available in a variety of styles and finishes, including black or white.
Height
Shorter lamp posts for pedestal lanterns are ideal for lighting patios, walkways and gardens and distributing light or highlighting features across small areas. Taller post lanterns usually provide wider lighting coverage, making them ideal for illuminating larger areas. We supply a range of pedestals and posts in heights ranging from 346mm to 1050mm.
IP rating
IP stands for Ingress Protection and is a two-digit grading system to measure the amount of protection an electrical enclosure has against dirt, debris and liquid. Our post lanterns are rated IP44 or above to provide protection against the elements and provide reliable lighting all year round.
