This cable is primarily designed for use in connecting door bells and chimes. However, electricians have also found this cable suitable for other applications where extra-low voltage (less than 50V) is being used. Each conductor consists of 1 solid strand of 0. 67mm copper. The conductors are laid side by side and insulated in a white PVC. This creates a flat 'figure of 8' configuration.
